Rocky Gets a Live Orchestral Score at Kings Theatre This November

The original "Rocky" film gets a dramatic twist in Flatbush this fall, as Kings Theatre hosts a one-night screening with a live symphony orchestra performing Bill Conti’s iconic score. Scheduled for November 5, 2026, this event is produced by TCG Entertainment and takes place at 1027 Flatbush Avenue. Moviegoers can expect the full film on screen, with the orchestra playing the soundtrack—including "Gonna Fly Now"—in real time. The draw is the combination of a familiar film and musicians performing its score in sync with the screen.

If you’re considering attending, the official start time is 7pm Eastern, with doors opening at 6pm. The official ATG listing is the place to check the performance schedule and booking options. Double-check your ticket for any updates, as event times can change.

Choosing Your Tickets and Seats

For "Rocky in Concert," compare the tickets currently offered through the official seller. When comparing options, factor in the total cost at checkout, including any fees. Kings Theatre offers a range of seating, so if you’re particular about your view or proximity to the orchestra, review the seating chart before booking. If you need accessible seating or step-free routes, contact the venue directly before purchasing, as availability and services can differ by event.

Getting to Kings Theatre in Flatbush

Kings Theatre is located at 1027 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11226. For those arriving by subway, the Flatbush neighborhood is served by several lines, but transit schedules can vary, especially late at night. If you’re planning to drive, consider local parking options and allow extra time for Flatbush Avenue traffic. If you arrange a pickup, choose a meeting point you can identify easily and check it against the venue’s current arrival instructions.

Arrival and Security Planning

Doors open at 6pm, giving you an hour before the film begins. This window can help you avoid last-minute lines and settle in. Kings Theatre enforces security and bag policies that may change, so check the venue’s official page for the latest rules before you go. If you’re carrying a large bag or need to bring medical items, ask about accommodations in advance.

Accessibility and Special Needs

If you or someone in your group requires accessible seating, step-free entry, or hearing/sensory services, reach out to Kings Theatre before booking. Describe the arrangements you need before choosing a seat, so the venue can advise on suitable options. For example, if you use a mobility device or require assistive listening, ask about the best seating locations and any services offered for this specific event.

Age Guidance and Event Duration

If you’re planning to bring children or teens, contact the venue to ask about suitability and any age-related policies. Familiarity with a film at home can be a useful starting point for a family discussion, but a large-screen performance with live orchestral sound is a different outing. Ask about duration and intermission before coordinating transportation or childcare; allow time to leave your seat and make your way out after the performance.

Booking and Refund Considerations

Use the official ATG listing as your starting point for booking. Review the booking terms carefully, as refund and exchange policies can differ by event. If you’re buying for a group, check whether adjacent seats are available before finalizing your order. For those with accessibility needs, confirm your arrangements before completing the transaction.
